Message from the Director
Message from Director Deborah Harper
2005-2018
It has been my pleasure to have served as director of your library for these thirteen years. This library has been and will continue to be very important to the Groves community and it exists to serve all visitors. What started out as a little beacon of light in the mid-thirties has become a vital information hub capable of reaching well outside the library walls.
With a recent grant from the Hebert Foundation, we were able to update our computers, add new furniture, bring more educational software to the children's section, and add more security to our building. We planned this project with all our visitors and patrons in mind.
Louella Doucet will be taking over as Interim Director after the end of May. She is a part of the Groves community, and loves the library. The future will be bright and readers will be reading. There is no replacement for a bright neighborhood library.
