Does my checking out e-books harm the library?
NO! Checking out e-books does not harm the library. E-books that our patrons use are counted in our system as material use. Actually, your e-book checkouts HELP the library! Groves Public Library is affiliated with the Texas State Library Archives and Commission. To meet our maintenance of effort (MOE) we have to meet a certain amount of physical and digital checkouts. YOU are helping us stay accredited!
