Reading Rugs Purchased with GPL Book Sale Funds

Thanks to everyone who made our recent book sale a success. Here is what we purchased.
Reading Rugs Purchased with GPL Book Sale Funds
Largest Children's reading rug

On August 16 and 17th, our GPL volunteer group held a Skyrocket Book Sale to aid the library in purchasing new reading rugs for children's programs.

The book sale was a success, and the library received $720.80 before sale tax.

A whole lot of people made this book sale possible: Angel Moore, Bo Jones, Charlotte DeRouen, Don Manganise, Esai Prescod, Jaalah Baaheth, Joe Pittman, John Rabalais, Joshua Poole, Kay Barnes, Kaye Jones, Keelah Baaheth, Kylie Poole, Lynette Baaheth, Mary Jefferson, Melanie Smith, Mike DeCluitt, Naamah Baaheth, Phyllis York, Renee Carter, Sondra Durso, Stacy Poole, and Steven Withers.

We sincerely thank all these good people who came together to complete this task so the children can benefit from bright, new rugs. Your dedication to the library was amazing.

I also want to mention, we are very appreciative of Grace Granger, who volunteered to pressure wash our building for us. She is an amazing young lady.

Here are the rugs that are on order. The book rug is 10'9"x7'8" and the Reading Tree is 7'8"x 5"4"
